About
What is Camzone?
Camzone is the UK network for camera department crew.
It's built for one department: DoPs, camera and Steadicam operators, focus pullers, camera assistants, loaders, trainees, DITs, video, underwater and drone crew.
For crew
Your profile and CV in one place: your roles, where you're based, how far you'll travel, your credits, your full CV and your showreel.
Be found by role and location. Productions search the directory for the crew they need, near where they're shooting.
Pencils straight to you. A production can pencil your dates from your profile. You get an email, and it can sync to your phone calendar.
For productions
Find camera crew near your shoot, by role and by area, with their CVs and credits.
Pencil crew without an account, straight from their profile.
Post a production and crew apply to you directly. No account needed.
For crew with kit
Dry hire between crew. Members hire their own cameras, lenses, monitors and accessories to each other, and agree the terms directly. Listings are for members only, so your kit isn't on public display.
Buy and sell. Sell kit you no longer use to other members, or post a wanted ad. Like dry hire, it's for members only.
For trainees
Starting out as a camera or video trainee? Post your profile and CV, add your credits, and get found by productions looking for trainees near them.
Pencils and productions: a production can pencil your dates straight from your profile, and you can apply to productions posted on Camzone.
Backing trainees from day one. When Camzone starts charging, camera and video trainees get a free trainee membership, so your profile and pencils stay free while you’re starting out.
Free while we get going
Membership is free during the founding period, with no card needed.
